This workshop introduces the participants to IOT and its wide range of applications. The participants will be given a hands-on learning platform and will develop a simple home automation system. The participants will also be taught how to develop android apps using MIT App inventor. By the end of this workshop, the participants will be capable of developing their own robust home automation system and an app to control it.

This workshop covers the basic of the Atmega 328P micro-controller and explores a few of the many possible applications using the Arduino UNO board. The following will be covered over the course of 3 days:

• Basic line follower

• Edge detection and avoiding bot

• Obstacle Avoider bot

• Android-based Bluetooth controlled bot

This is a 5-day session that packs the punch of both the Xtrogenesis Technology's Arduino and IOT workshop. At the end of this workshop, a small competition will be conducted for all the participants to put to test the knowledge they have gained throughout the workshop. The winning team will be given a surprise gift/goodie from Xtrogenesis Technology
